Two Parties for Fair Elections! VCCool is teaming up with local activist Carol Lindberg to hold two fun and powerful house parties. Join us. Donate $15 dollars and make 15 calls for FAIR ELECTIONS! There will be refreshments and wonderful, informed people working right along side you. We will be showing a short DVD, talking about Prop 15 as well as the great things that are happening in the seven other Fair Elections states. And then we'll whip out our cell phone and each call 15 voters (on our strategic list) to remind them to vote YES on PROP 15. Please RSVP for one or both!! Saturday, May 15 Be sure to bring your cell phone and $15.

This is the first time in 22 years, that a public funded "fair elections" option has made it to the California ballot! Who foots the bill in Prop 15? Lobbyists Fees! You heard me. The guys that make the big bucks fighting for corporate control will fund "publicly funded" candidates. And if a public funded candidate takes corporate money - they could find themselves in the clink! To get a foot in the door, Prop 15 is starting off with just the office of Secretary of State - but the ban for publicly funded local elections will also be lifted. (Do you believe it? There is actually a moratorium on having fair election local campaigns.) Join the party, and let's protect our climate and our elections!
